Vixen Color: Brindle She is shy at first, but warms up very quickly; and will take a submissive posture if she is corrected. She is very sweet and loving. Loves belly rubs. She plays with stuffed toys. She slept through the night without problems; and gave nice morning hello. No accidents in the house. She has a skin condition which is being treated with antibiotics, special spray, and now special dog food for skin issues. She eats well and is not food aggressive. She is a good traveler and enjoys the car rides. This is a very sweet girl and once introduced to a prospective new home it won't take long for someone to fall in love with her. Deuce Color: Brindle Deuce is an active little brindle girl. She doesn't hesitate to whine if she's not getting the attention she thinks she deserves. She is curious about everything and very playful. She gets along well with the other greyhounds in the house but smaller animals bring out her prey drive. Money Color: Red Fawn He’s a broadbacked sweet boy. Not a fan of the bathtub, he’s a sitter while you bathe him. (Meaning he’ll slowly lower his rear end until he’s sitting in the tub) and you’re forced to hold him upright to finish. He’s not a fan of hardwood floors…that being said I’ve only had him in the house 2 times since he’s been here. He much prefers the backyard, enjoying the concrete or laying on the turf that’s out there in the shade. Val Color: Black So far somewhat shy, but not timid, she sticks close to Carter. Quick enough to join in the horseplay (dogplay?) with the others though, she’s not as energetic as Carter. A good looking black, she’s in good shape. She seems to be at ease inside and so far is no trouble. She ran 53 races and came in first 6 times and 5 times in second place. Carter Color: Brindle We welcome T's Carterblaze. Calling him Carter, as you can see he's GORGEOUS. Beautiful subtle brindle color with a white apron and near matching white on all four paws, he's a good size, energetic, strong male. Eager to play, before I even had his muzzle off he had a toy in his mouth and he was running around tossing it to himself. He will benefit from an owner that has some strength to hold him back and will definitely be one to be on the go with you all day. It took little to no encouragement to get Faye to play with him, as she loves to run around with whoever will join in, and Jax and Val (next post) joined in quickly. Bitz Color: Fawn She figured out the patio door with no problem. She gets along beautifully with the Danes and greyhounds here. She has an issue crossing the terrazzo foyer and the linoleum kitchen floor at the moment, but I think she will figure that out quick. She is not a counter surfer. She is however an interior decorator. So far, it only involves moving the dog toys from where they are normally kept to the big pad in front of the fireplace. Then she lays down with her stash.
